Property
‘Blood gold’ – a vein of pure gold cursed by greed and the blood spilled over it. Whoever owns it doesn’t want to let go: to part with it (also by crafting with it) you must make a DC 18 Wisdom save. Even mundane items made from it carry the curse until cleansed.
Curse: while you own any, you have advantage on Wisdom (Insight) checks when haggling over payment and know whether someone could give more (not what or how much). If they could, make a DC 18 Wisdom save or feel compelled to press them for it.
Good for: cursed items (good fit), e.g. a berserker axe.
Affinity: curse, greed, metal
In this system
A portion of Tainted Gold is an empty vessel that can hold 10,000 MP (MP). It only becomes magical when a character charges it. Unique parts are what a special slot is for.
