Property
Slag from dwarven smelting – leftovers full of traces of ore, usually dumped or buried somewhere out of the way. A cooled lump needs hard scrubbing before it is usable.
Good for: anything that needs metal (minor fit). But roll d100 when the item is finished: on 10 or lower it is flawed, and the GM secretly rolls a d10 – it works for that many days, then falls apart.
Good for: cheap salvage work.
Affinity: metal, repair, salvage
In this system
A portion of Smelter’s Slag is an empty vessel that can hold 100 MP (MP). It only becomes magical when a character charges it. Unique parts are what a special slot is for.
