Part descriptions

Brain Matter

Pink-grey brain tissue that makes you dizzy and confused if you stare at it too long.

Good for: mind items and items that hide you from detection (minor fit), e.g. a ring of mind shielding.

Celestial Serpent Tongue

A long, forked, rainbow-coloured tongue.

Use: hold it while casting zone of truth and whisper a prayer to the couatl’s old god as part of the spell. The tongue burns up in rainbow light, and creatures in the zone have disadvantage on the save against it.

Couatl Divine Heart

A heart that hums instead of beating, coloured like bright tropical feathers.

Use: once a day, hold it to gain proficiency in one Intelligence skill for 1 hour. Or: when you cast a cleric spell of 3rd level or lower while holding it, the heart burns up in radiance and the spell needs no slot and no other components.
