Part descriptions

Adult Bronze Draconic Blood

Dark-brown dragon blood with a faint arcane spark in it.

Use: can replace the magic ink for copying spells into a spellbook – it covers up to 50 gp of ink.

Good for: scrolls (good fit).

Adult Bronze Draconic Heart

A metallic-brown, leathery dragon heart with a dim glow – said to hold the dragon’s pride and might.

Use: eat it (action) and make a DC 14 Wisdom save. Success – you can’t be frightened for 8 hours.

Good for: items that cause or resist fear, and dragon-themed items (good fit).

Adult Electric Gland

A throat gland that smells sharply of a coming storm; it brews the fluid behind a dragon’s breath.

Use: swallow it (action) and make a DC 14 Constitution save. Failure – you take 2d10 lightning damage. Success – you breathe lightning in a 45-foot line, 5 feet wide; each creature there makes a DC 14 Dexterity save, taking 5d10 lightning damage on a failure or half on a success.

Good for: breath and lightning items.

Adult Repulsionbreath Sac

A sac from beside a dragon’s lungs, full of colourless gas that pushes everything away when released.

Use: throw it and it bursts in a 10-foot radius. Each creature there makes a DC 18 Strength save or is pushed 60 feet away from the burst.

Good for: force damage and items that push creatures or objects (good fit).

Complex Gills

Finely layered, feathery membranes that soak up more air than simple gills – enough to breathe underwater.

Good for: water-breathing items (good fit).
