Description
A large, burning heart radiating the dominance of a pit fiend.
Use: once a day, hold it and call on it: for 1 minute, advantage on attacks and saves, and immunity to frightened and charmed. Afterwards make a DC 20 Wisdom save. Failure – until a long rest, disadvantage on all ability checks and vulnerability to radiant; and the devil’s soul gets a foothold in your mind.
Good for: fire damage or resistance (good fit), e.g. a staff of fire.
Devil-heart bond: each use raises the DC by 1 (max 25). Fail three times and the bond is permanent until broken by protection from evil and good – which turns the heart to ash.
