Rarity decides how much MP an item needs at least and how long the final ritual takes. The materials’ total capacity must reach the minimum (Portions and capacity); the typical core grade shows what that usually takes for a weapon-sized item.
| Rarity | Min MP permanent | Min MP consumable | Typical core grade | Ritual | Value at minimum |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 50 | 25 | Low | 4–8 hours | 100 / 50 gp |
| Uncommon | 200 | 100 | Medium | 1 day | 400 / 200 gp |
| Rare | 2,000 | 1,000 | High | 3 days | 4,000 / 2,000 gp |
| Very rare | 20,000 | 10,000 | Supreme | 1 week | 40,000 / 20,000 gp |
| Legendary | 100,000 | 50,000 | Mythic | 1 month | 200,000 / 100,000 gp |
+ a special slot on top if the item should have a special ability (Special slot).
Anchored in 2024
- 2024 crafting costs are 50 / 200 / 2,000 / 20,000 / 100,000 gp, and consumables cost half. Min MP = the 2024 cost.
- 2024 times are 5 / 10 / 50 / 125 / 250 days. Here time is driven by Charging + ritual instead, and is usually much shorter.
- 2024 value is 2 × crafting cost. The same applies here.
Time
Total time = making the mundane item (2024: days = price ÷ 10 for non-magical items) + charging + ritual. Use the Charging Calculator to work it out.
